2023 Round-Up

2023, what a year! Below is a list of some of our favorite highlights at Tullaghansleek Stud.

1. Horse Sport Ireland Foal Championship Winner

The final of the Foal Championship 2023 concluded with the Horse Showjumping foals. Champion of the showjumpers was Pleasure for Sure (ISH), a filly foal by Another Pleasure (KWPN) out of Donogue Cavalier Girl (ISH) by Cavalier Royale (HOSLT), bred and owned by Ciaran Ward. Judges noticed this filly’s good topline and super trot and canter.

2. Horse Sport Ireland Foal Championship Qualifier

Oliver Higgins presented with reserve in the Horse Eventing category. The filly foal by Another Pleasure (KWPN), out of Nautilus Vivendi (ISH) damsire ARS Vivendi (HOLST).

3. Ballinasloe Horse Show Champion Foal Winner

Oliver Higgins wins at Ballinasloe with his filly foal by Another Pleasure x ARS Vivendi.

4. Dublin Horse Show Colt or Filly by Thoroughbred Class Winner

Mary and Michael Dooner’s colt foal, Shadow Man by Shadow Gate x Vanity Fair wins at the RDS Dublin Horse Show.

5. €1,500 Successfully Raised for RDAI

Claire Carey pictured alongside Rosaleen Barry and Helga Dolan of the Mullingar Riding for the Disabled Association (RDAI) with stallion, Another Pleasure.

The success of the raffle featuring a prize of a complimentary service to Another Pleasure cannot be overstated. The community’s overwhelming support led to a sellout of raffle tickets, ultimately resulting in an impressive €1,500 raised for the Mullingar Riding for the Disabled Association.
